Easy to create, beautiful photo book
I made a photobook for my partner's first father's day. It was a chance to pick out some favourites from the hundreds of photos I have of our son since he arrived and turn it into something beautiful and more meaningful. The app is excellent, with a young baby I had to return to the draft so many times to actually do it but changes were always saved and it was easy to use and pick up where I had left off. The quality of the book is fantastic and it arrived well packaged in plenty of time. Very pleased.

Fantastic quality and overall experience
Took a bit of a gamble using this company as I'd never heard of them before and had looked into all the usual alternative companies. Liked the look of their offerings so ordered a photo book of our wedding. Much preferred the user interface for creating the book compared to all the others I tried. Really easy to use and flexible control of the design. Ordering process was easy and there were shipping updates at every stage of the process. Fast delivery and very pleased with the overall quality. Pricing is very reasonable and on par with other companies. Overall very pleased and would definitely use again. Sometimes it pays to take a chance on an otherwise unknown company.

Really beautiful photo book
Really fantastic photo book, beautifully done. Modern design, and even the photos that weren't of a high resolution were printed well. Absolutely no complaints, I was really happy with it. The only down side in the UK is - if you buy a book over a certain value - the problem with customs fees. That didn't affect this purchase, but I think it's a sign of how impressed I am with Rosewood that I would still consider using them even for a more expensive book, I am so pleased with their beautiful work. The photo albums look and feel fantastic. However, until my order was placed and paid for, there was no mention of the product being made in France and thus would need to her shipped internationally and clear UK customs. This process took time (and the parcel had been opened by UK Border Control), which meant that the parcel delivery was delayed, which in turn means it was late as a birthday present.

The photo checking service included was impressive although we didn’t end up getting any feedback (all our wedding photos were professional). The construction of the book was excellent but I was expecting the images to have better resolution - I feel like there was little difference between this book and those offered inexpensively elsewhere.

Our artisans work very hard on the construction of your album, and we'll certainly feed this back to our team! Regarding the resolution of your images, this is an element that is determined by the lighting conditions and camera used to take your photos. While our online editor verifies your images to highlight those that appear to have a lower than ideal DPI, this doesn't take into account the lighting elements that can affect the clarity of your images, and contribute to an overall sensation of 'low resolution'. We apply an automatic retouching to the photos in the interior of your book, and this helps optimize your images for print, and alleviate some of the colouring that might deteriorate the quality of your images, however, there can be limitations imposed by the original images files for which we aren't able to compensate. I have been using Rosemood for the last 3 years as I do a year book of my little boy every year with hundreds of phone pictures and I’ve always been very impressed with the quality especially in comparison to other companies. Your photos will come out on paper exactly how they look on your screen. I am a photographer and this year I had a couple of books done using photos purely from my camera when on holiday and I am so impressed!! I could very easily use these books for my clients!! I went for the textured paper inside which is just so lovely and the craft paper cover. I will continue to use rosemood every year for my albums. Cannot recommend highly enough!!!

Learning something new seems a little challenging at first. My photo project needed to use non digital photos.. Once I had the older photos captured digitally it was a straightforward process of building the photo book. It took a few trial runs to understand the way to do it. It just takes a bit of organisation and a little time to learn the process.. Overall a great product with a good range of options to configure a wonderful collection of memories.
